A Conference Visa (CV) is granted to foreign nationals to attend conference, seminar, workshop organised in India by
a Ministry or department of the Govt. of India, public sector undertaking, central educational institution, public funded universities,
organisations owned and controlled by the Govt. of India/State Govt./Union Territory/United Nations or its specified agencies.
Conference/seminar/workshop sponsored by an NGO in India needs clearance/approval of the nodal ministry concerned of the central/state governments.
- Printout of the online application form duly signed.
- Passport valid for a minimum of 180 days with at least two blank pages.
- Two recent photographs (See Specifications).
- Letter of Invitation for the Conference from organizers in India.
- Letter from the institution represented in Malaysia
- A copy of event clearance from competent authorities in India.
- Fees (Visa fee, Consular surcharge, Service fee and any other applicable fee).
- Additional Form filled in and signed. If the applicant is a foreign national he/she needs to have a residential proof from the Malaysia government for more than 1 years. The process can take longer.
Note: Any Malaysian document must be officially translated into English.
